BentPenny Coffee is a family-founded brand from Southern California, inspired by a love for the outdoors and a commitment to quality coffee.

We intentionally source green coffee beans from 100% certified organic farms in Peru, Honduras, Burundi, and Sumatra, creating a thoughtfully curated range of flavors. Our beans are roasted in small batches in the mountain town Bishop, California — a place you may know if you’ve traveled through the Eastern Sierras.

We exclusively sell whole bean coffee to preserve freshness, flavor, and aroma, keeping the natural oils sealed until the moment you grind.

Every bag is roasted to order with intention and care, ensuring the freshest coffee and the most optimal flavor in every cup.

California natives Sarah and Angelo Garcia own and operate BentPenny Coffee. They spent their early years exploring up and down the California coastline, forming a shared love for the outdoors, connection, and community.

BentPenny Coffee draws inspiration from the landscapes that surround us: the ocean, the mountains, and everything in between. Whether it’s a sunrise surf, afternoon snorkel, a long hike, or a weekend spent camping under the stars, our coffee is built for life outdoors.

California isn’t just where we’re based, it’s how we live. BentPenny Coffee is made for those who chase adventure and carry it with them wherever they go.
